The Art of Getting What You Want

Image
Let’s pretend you had a magic wand that if you shake, it will show you what the rest of your life will look like. Would you give it a go or would you throw away the stick and just go with it? I believe there are two kinds of people in this world: people who make things happen, and those who wait for things to happen. The ones who make things happen will look at the magic wand, have a giggle and walk away, waiting to embark on their next adventure, scared or not. They know where they're going and how to get there. The others who wait for things to happen however, will immediately shake it to see what’s to come and in 5 seconds, a whole lifetime of events would manifest themselves. Do you think this would make you happy?   I have learned over the years that playing it safe is just an illusion because life is not about that. You will never evolve if you don’t take risks and you won’t grow if you don’t fail and start from the bottom. Being able to take control of your life, regardless ...

Love Yourself: Make the world a better place!

Image
Have you ever wondered why we find it so easy to love other people yet find it so difficult learning   how to love yourself? I think it’s because we have been taught that loving ourselves is selfish or conceited in some way. After all, nobody likes a narcissistic person who walks around saying,  “I’m so awesome!”  all the time, and never seems to care very much about anyone else. But there is a huge difference between loving yourself and being a narcissist! Loving yourself doesn’t mean you think you’re better than everyone else. It’s simply a matter of recognizing your own good qualities and acknowledging that you are a loveable person and that you are worthy of love. Because no matter what you’ve been taught to believe, you  ARE  worthy of love. I want you to understand that at a bone-deep level. No matter who you are or where you’re at in life, you deserve all the love in the world. And the most important person you need to receive that love from, more than an...

Parallel Universe : We might be living in an alternate reality!

Image
Do you believe in Alternate Realities? Multiverses are all over the place.  Films, mainstream science articles, philosophical discussions, Family Guy episodes.  At some time, we've all been welcome to envision duplicates of ourselves going around in some other dimension, carrying on with their lives however not exactly identical to our own.  Yet, why do people think that parallel universe exists in the first place? What is a Parallel Universe? An parallel universe is referred to by different terms, for example, alternate universe, alternate reality or an alternate dimension however they all mean the equivalent, which is, a theoretical universe where life exists past our own universe. It basically says that there are different universes out there where life and "astronomical objects" exist simply as they do in our universe. There are a couple of various speculations about the presence of these different universes. Two that researchers talk about a lot. The primary, gone ah...

NASA's OSIRIS-REx

NASA to Capture Rich Carbon-Dust from a Former Water World On October 20 th , after several years of patient study of its cryptic target, NASA’s 800$ million spacecraft named OSIRIS- REx ( short for Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, Security, Regolith Explorer) is finally ready to take a flight to the near-Earth asteroid ‘Bennu’ and sweep some dust and pebbles along. The encounter which is about 334 kilometers away from Earth is going to last for about 10 seconds. Source: NASA If this mission turns out to be successful, NASA can get up to 1 kg of carbon-rich materials by the time of its return to Earth in 2023. Since OSIRIS-REx’s return in 2018, Bennu has shown a lot of changes, and some of them are quite surprising. The 500-meter-wide asteroid was not smooth, as expected, but scattered with more than 200 large boulders that could upset the sampling maneuver. And often, the asteroid even ejects coin-sized pebbles which are probably driven by meteoroid im...
